This is not Milan, Paris or London this is Trotter and Deane in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge! The ambition, when the doors first opened in Suffolk in 1991, was to blend my appreciation of British Tailoring with the Italians flair for colour and style. I am fortunate enough to work with some of the sectors top manufacturers and fabric producers, from the crofters in Shetland to the silk weavers of Como, to create what has become acknowledged as a unique premium menswear collection. My senior team are more than shop assistants. Fully versed in all aspects of the business from manufacturing to fabric construction and tailoring techniques, their emphasis is firmly on your experience as a customer. The long-term relationships we have forged with our clients are testament to this commitment and enthusiasm. The younger members of the team are tutored to these high standards. John Deane-Bowers
