The True North Society is a domestic violence and healthy relationships resource center which has been serving Strathmore - and more than 15 of its surrounding communities - for over 30 years through three main branches of service: Emergency Shelter (which also houses our 24-hour Crisis & Support Line) that provides individuals fleeing violence safety, referral, advocacy, and supportive counselling for up to 30 days as they plan to transition to safe housing.
