Trutzschler India was established in 1977 in Ahmedabad as a subsidiary of the German textile machinery manufacturer Trutzschler Group SE. It employs 900 people who manufacture and assemble a significant portion of Trutzschlers spinning portfolio such as blow room, carding or combing machines. In addition, the company has a card clothing division which is equipped with flat top pin setting machines, grinding cylinders and profile wire line for rigid wire, to support the increasing demand for card clothing products from domestic and global markets. The parent company Trutzschler Group SE is headquartered in Monchengladbach, Germany. Trutzschler has stood for expertise in fiber and spinning preparation for more than 130 years. The family business employs more than 3,000 people worldwide, around 750 of them in Monchengladbach.
