Tulsa Oilers

BACKGROUND The tradition of Tulsa Oilers hockey that began in 1928 continues to run deep today. The Oilers just completed their 69th season as a fixture of the Tulsa sports landscape and 29th consecutive season since the rebirth of the franchise in 1992. Since its opening in 2008, the Oilers have drawn more people to the BOK Center than any other team or event. The state-of-the-art downtown arena gives the Oilers the best home venue in the ECHL and affords the team a wide variety of options to enhance the fan experience. With 36 home games stretched over six months, the Oilers play an important role in the rejuvenation of downtown Tulsa and help to increase the citys economic strength. Over the last seven seasons, the Oilers are responsible for more than 40-percent of the BOK Centers total attendance.
