Tumaini La Maisha & Their Lives Matter

We Are TLM represents a group of International organisations with a shared vision and mission: to care for children with cancer in Tanzania. Tumaini La Maisha means Hope for Life and is the name of the NGO registered in 2011 in Tanzania with the single focus of providing free and curative care for every child with cancer in the country. Tumaini La Maisha operates from our Hub at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their Lives Matter UK and Ireland are our sister NGOs that support with advocacy and fundraising. At our Hub in Muhimbili Hospital and our growing number of partner centres across Tanzania, we treat hundreds of children with cancer every year. Our vision is for all children with cancer in Tanzania to have access to locally available, high quality, curative and palliative treatment leading to survival outcomes similar to resource rich settings.
