Tuneless Choir

Time and time again, singing has been proven to be just great for peoples well-being - physically, emotionally and socially. As a society we sing much less than we used to, as curricula are squeezed and church-going falls. Entertainment shows tell us its something to excel at rather than participate in, and this particularly hits those with (lets say) not so good voices. Tuneless Choirs give those who cant sing in tune a place they can go to sing like no one is listening. Great songs are sung badly. Theres no tuition just a lot of laughter. Endorphins flow. People describe it as liberating, and tell how just being able to sing has helped them find confidence and literally a voice. Our groups become diverse, wonderful communities, in which everyone is there to relax and have fun. They are a little bit of joy in a busy and stressful world. A respite.
