TURK EGITIM VAKFI

Turk Egitim Vakf (Turkish Education Association) is an NGO, founded by 205 Turkish intellectuals who dedicated themselves to the education of the youth, under the leadership of Vehbi Koc on the 7th of May, 1967. The objective of the organization is to support the youth in a way that they can create and use knowledge in proper ways. By giving scholarships to successful students who have weak financial situatiations, TEV supports the education system in Turkey and many young people who would contribute to Turkey and the mankind. Since it was founded, TEV has given 250.000 domestic and 2.000 abroad scholarships. Apart from the scholarship support, TEV has also contributed Turkeys education system with establishing dormitories, several educational facilities and libraries.
