Turning Tables is a non-profit organization which believes that music is a fundamental part of youth development. Music inspires. Music is a universal vehicle for communication and self-expression, and it transcends boundaries. Therefore, we believe that all young people should have an opportunity to be part of a global music culture, regardless of gender or social, political or economical status. Turning Tables helps vulnerable young people channel their energy into music and film creation and thereby connect them to the global youth culture of electronic music and film production. We set up music labs for marginalized youth in conflict areas to provide them with a platform to express their grievances, hopes and dreams; a creative environment for learning new skills and sharing experiences, and an opportunity to consider and pursue a better tomorrow.
