Twikker Fund - Sheffield Student Investment Fund

Founded by Steve Kiln with a generous donation in 2011, the Twikker Fund at the University of Sheffield has grown in to the largest student run investment fund in Europe, with 220k under management. The Twikker Fund is comprised of 2 main sections: the Competition Fund and the Long Term Fund. The Competition Fund The competition runs from October - May, with 5 teams of students each managing 9k. The team returning the best growth on their 9k wins! The Long Term Fund LTF is the largest section of the Twikker Fund, worth c. 160k AuM. The long term fund protects the capital of the Twikker Fund to ensure we continue providing opportunities for years to come, provides income through a large dividend portfolio, and seeks capital appreciation through investing in growth companies.
