UDSM DHIS2 Lab

University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) DHIS2 digital health lab is under the Computer Science and Engineering Department in the College of ICT in Tanzania. It provides research & development collaborative innovation space for more than 30 developers and implementers who work interactivity and collaboratively with the Ministry of Health Tanzania and other stakeholders to support national health information systems (HIS) and the development of other emerging IT digital solutions. The UDSM DHIS2 lab has successfully provided technical support to the Ministry of Health -Tanzania Mainland and its vertical programs over the past 20 years on different systems, including the National DHIS2 system, eIDSR, HRHIS, and National HMIS Portal while collaborating with the University of Oslo HISP Centre and other various implementing partners in further digital research, innovations, and HIS strengthening efforts.
