The UK Data Archive is curator of the largest collection of digital data in the social sciences and humanities in the United Kingdom. We are an internationally acknowledged centre of expertise in the areas of acquiring, curating and providing access to data. We acquire high quality data from the academic, public, and commercial sectors, providing continuous access to these data while we also support existing and emerging communities of data users. Since 2010 our organisation has been certified under the international ISO 27001 standard for information security. Our Information Security Management System supports all aspects of digital curation carried out in-house, such as the selection, acquisition, ingest, archiving, provision of access to data, and the management and planning of digital curation.
