Umami Restaurant Group is a Los Angeles-based restaurant group founded by Adam Fleischman, a self-taught chef and successful food and wine entrepreneur best known for his break-out full-service hamburger concept, Umami Burger. Conceived as fine-dining fast food, Umami Burger was named Burger of the Year by GQ magazine in 2010 and has received significant additional praise numerous additional press, media, celebrity and food industry participants. Umami Restaurant Group has partnered with numerous award-winning chefs including Chris Cosentino, Jordan Kahn, and Anthony Carron.
