The UMD Fellows Program is an innovative year-long program designed to equip talented and diverse undergraduate students with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to excel in professional internships and pursue careers of influence and impact. The UMD Fellows Program has three branches, Global, Federal, and Maryland (the Maryland branch debuts this fall 2023!). Global Fellows in Washington, D.C. targets the international sector, Federal Fellows highlights federal government and domestic policy, and Maryland Fellows focuses on state and local government.
