Umoe BioEnergy is a bioethanol producer supplying a fast growing international market. The company produces low cost, sustainable bioethanol from sugar cane, and has land and integrated agroindustrial operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The production environment is unique, with vast land areas, rich natural resources and a well established industry. Umoe BioEnergy has 36,000 ha land reserves, state-of-the art, mechanized agricultural operations, and is currently operating one industrial production in Sandovalina, SP, Brazil. Production capacity is 240,000 m3 of hydrous ethanol. A co-generation facility capable of exporting 45 MW of bio-electricity will start-up in 2012.
