UNCW Center for Marine Science

The mission of CMS is to support and promote coastal and marine science at UNCW through research, teaching, outreach and service. CMS covers a broad range of coastal and marine issues with an emphasis on the physical, chemical and life sciences, as well as aquaculture and applied research. As UNCW is the states coastal university, we serve as stewards of coastal sustainability, aquaculture and living resources that make the Cape Fear region like no other.
