Set up in 1972 in the Khor Khwair Industrial Area, Ras Al Khaimah, Union Cement Company is the first cement producer of United Arab Emirates. H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of UAE inaugurated the unit in 1973, few months after the foundation of the UAE federation, flagging off a journey to become an organization that is diversified and self-reliant is committed to contribute to the economic development of the nation and create value for all its stakeholders. In alignment to our goal to provide products of the highest standard, Union Cement Company was the first cement manufacturer in the Middle East, to have obtained the ISO and API certifications.
