Unionville College

Unionville College has been educating the young minds of tomorrow for over 25 years. Located in Markham, Ontario UC has an enrollment of approximately 1000 students from 2 year olds in the pre-Casa programme to Grade 12. The pre-Casa and Casa programmes for students ages 2-5 follows the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. This approach, which is based upon independent and individualized learning, encourages students curiosity and leads them to ask questions and think for themselves. The Montessori programme at UMS is a head-start programme that prepares children for our advanced and enhanced elementary program. From grades 1-12 students learn at a level above the standards set by the Ontario School Curriculum, with Pre-AP & AP courses offered in Secondary School. UC encourages students to do their very best in academics, arts, and athletics by providing a progressive technologically-enhanced program taught by specialized teachers
