Universal Trading T.S. Corp, known as Unitco, is a group involved directly and through its subsidiaries in the building materials and energy industries, while possessing a real estate investment arm and a port operation. Within the building materials industry, the group is vertically integrated in its core business, the timber industry. Its activities include harvesting of forests, production of sawn goods, adding value, production of energy from biomass resulting in its sawmills, shipping, trading, distributing and retailing of construction lumber, furniture wood and fiber based panels. In selected locations, billets, steel and other building materials are also part of its product mix. The production of the group is sold globally, in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Gulf regions as well as Asia.
