UnitingCare Community

UnitingCare Community is a leading provider of community services in Queensland. We employ 2400 staff, are aided by 4800 volunteers, run 300 programs and are located at 250 client service and business sites across the state. As were part of the UnitingCare Queensland group of community service organisations, we have a strong values base namely: compassion, justice, respect, working together and leading through learning. To provide its services, UnitingCare Community receives government funding and self-funds through its business activities including the Lifeline Shops, clothing exports and rag sales. The organisation is currently expanding its fundraising activities with a focus on securing financial donors, bequests and corporate partners. UnitingCare Community has changed its name from Lifeline Community Care.
