Our story began in 1979, with the founding of Syarikat Logam Unitrade. The initial business activities were mainly retail, wholesale and distribution of pipes, valves, fittings and accessories to cater for the M&E works in the Building Services segment of the construction industry, primarily for installation of fire protection and plumbing systems. As the business grew, Syarikat Logam Unitrade Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 5th January 1984, to progress the business to the next level. Through the rapid developments and transformations in Malaysia over the next 4 decades, we went from strength to strength and made unprecedented progress to establish ourselves as one of the countrys largest homegrown building materials wholesalers and distributors and expanded our offerings to include reinforcement steel, structural steel and other building materials.
