Universidade Zambeze

Universidade Zambeze (UniZambeze) is a public higher education institution, created by Decree of the Council of Ministers no 77/2007, of 18 December, with headquarters in the City of Beira, and began its activities on 16 March 2009, being its activities nationwide. The Universitys Rectory is located in the City of Beira, capital of the Province of Sofala, with the majority of its scientific activities carried out in this city where courses are taught in the areas of Civil Engineering, Industrial Process Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Law, Economics, Administration, Accounting and Finance. Courses in the areas of Health Sciences, namely Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, are taught in the City of Tete, province of the same name, where the Agro-Livestock Engineering course is also taught in the Village of Ulongue, District of Angonia.
