UNIVERSITY OF SKILL ENRICHMENT AND TECHNOLOGY (USET)

The USET has been designed to satisfy the present Governments strategies in higher education sector to build skilled manpower in Meghna-Gumuti region. Its temporary campus is located at Signboard at present, corner of Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road. Higher education facilities will be provided at Meghna and surrounding Upazilas when permanent campus established in five years time. The USETs catchment includes seven Upazilas located in and around the mightily rivers Meghna and Gumuti and their tributaries. These are Meghna, Homna, Titash, Muradnagar, Daudkandi, Motlab North and Gazaria. This is a unique region of the nation some part of which goes under water every year for four to six months and is very rich in sweet water natural fish population serving the Dhaka city every morning in all seasons.
