Uptown Alley

We started out as Academy Lanes, established as a bowling alley in 1960, and became a Winnipeg landmark for entertainment. Over the years, Academy Lanes became a brand that everyone around Winnipeg could trust to provide the best entertainment for their families, friends and employees. In December 2018, we expanded and re-opened in a new location at 1301 St Matthews Ave as Uptown Alley. With 24 lanes of 5 pin bowling, 6 lanes of 10 pin bowling, a laser tag arena, a huge arcade and a Bistro with seating for over 100 people we have expanded our entertainment offerings to include facilities to keep you entertained for hours! We host all types of parties and event - From very successful fundraisers to Corporate and staff events that will be talked about for years - we know how to make your event a success! Our childrens birthday parties are among the top options in the city, and the value is truly awesome. With great food, bowling, drinks, games and laser tag you cant go wrong!
