UQ Space

UQ Space Inc (UQS) is student run NFP organisation based at The University of Queensland (UQ). UQS works towards creating an opportunity for aspiring engineers and scientists to go beyond what is taught in a classroom setting. Bridging the gap between university and industry through outreach, research, practical experience and collaboration. As the first and only in Queensland; UQS student members design, build (and launch) rockets, rovers and research technologies. This provides undergraduate students at UQ with the opportunity to directly apply knowledge obtained during their studies. With the assistance of our academic and industry advisors we aim to create an challenging and innovative environment, preparing students for the upcoming aerospace industry in Australia.
