USC College Advising Corps

The USC College Advising Corps is an education initiative of USC Rossiers Center for Enrollment Research, Policy and Practice. The Corps places recent college graduates in high schools to serve as full-time College Advisers. Our mission is to improve college outcomes for low-income, first- generation, and underrepresented students. Advisers work within high need schools supporting students by encouraging and assisting them with their college searches, college applications, financial aid, and transition to post-secondary education. Students who met with a USC CAC adviser are: 14% more likely to visit a college 19% more likely to apply for financial aid (FAFSA) 27%...
