USU Society for Verbal Arts (USOVA) is a Student Activity Unit that provides a forum for students who want to learn debating and public speaking. USOVA is responsible for providing intensive training to each member, especially for students who will represent Universitas Sumatera Utara in various debating and public speaking competitions. USOVA also participates in community service activities that can provide benefits to the community. This Student Activity Unit is active in participating in competitions at both regional, national, and international levels
