UW Steel Bridge Design Team

The University of Waterloo Steel Bridge Design Team is a collection of students who are passionate about engineering and design. The team provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge gained in the classroom and from their Co-op work terms to a unique design challenge. Students also gain hands-on experiences with all stages of structural steel design, from design to fabrication and ultimately construction of the bridge. Annual competitions are held in Canada and the United States (organized by CISC and AISC respectively), and the University of Waterloos team has participated in both since 2014.
