VALID is a multi-service, not-for-profit community-based organization located in Vegreville, Alberta. We strive to assist and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in their full inclusion and participation in the community VALID is the offshoot of an association founded in 1959 by a few parents realizing the need for a school for children with special needs. This non-profit organization has become a pillar in the Community of Vegreville and the surrounding area and a leader in the creation of an environment that encourages the inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities in community life
