Vanarai Trust

Vanarai, an organization founded by Padma Vibhushan Dr Mohan Dharia has been working since the last three decades for sustainable rural development and environmental sustainability. Our thrust areas are watershed management, afforestation, agricultural and livestock development, health, hygiene and sanitation, education, livelihood and women empowerment. We have been associated with more than 250 villages in states of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat and Union Territories of Dadra, Nagar and Haveli and have directly impacted the lives of about 2,50,000 beneficiaries. Our commitment towards sustainable growth of villages has facilitated sustainable reverse migration in several villages. We are working on various socio-economic development projects in partnership with many corporates and Government Departments. Our main goal is to achieve a socio-economically empowered India while also working to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
