Born and raised in Brazil, Vandas collections are infused with evocative imagery from her childhood memories growing up in the lush tropical surroundings of her familys farm in the Pantanal region. Jaguars and birds of paradise, majestic trees and wildflowers create a vibrant living tableaux. In her creative work Vanda draws inspiration from architecture, decorative, and visual art. Some of her muses include Oscar Niemeyer, Sonia Delaunay, and Dame Barbara Hepworth. This co-existence of natural and modernist inspiration is what defines the brand.
