Vedanta Zinc Football & Sports Foundation, an initiative of Hindustan Zinc, is a Section-8 company that aims to bring a transformative change in the countrys sporting ecosystem. The flagship CSR programme of Vedanta Zinc Football & Sports Foundation, Zinc Football is a grassroots football initiative established in 2017 to positively impact the football landscape across multiple levels by leveraging the power of the most loved sport in the world combined with quality education as a tool for social development. At the heart of the initiative is a state-of-the-art residential academy equipped with the latest advancements in sports science and technology. A technology-based player performance analysis centre has also been set up that enables coaches to impart training that is at par with global standards.
