Bodegas Vegamar: High Altitude Wines, was established in 1999 with 3 clear goals in: - Quality: Producing high quality wines with personality, expressing the aromas and flavors of the Mediterranean region., from our own vineyards - Respect for the environment: Using a preventive viticulture, avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides, using natural fertilizers and a reasonable fight against insects and pests. - Sustainability: To contribute to the development of the La Serrania region in an economical, social and environmental level. Since 2007 we produce Cava in the Requenas region, 70 km from Valencia, made out of Chardonnay, Macabeo and Garnacha. From 2012, we also produce extra virgin olive oils in La Serrania region.
