Velindre Cancer Centre is recognised as The Hospital Of Hope, and this is made possible because of the fantastic and committed supporters of Velindre cancer Charity. Their fundraising efforts and donations help us continue to be the leading provider of radiotherapy and other specialised anti-cancer treatments in Wales. It allows us to fund projects which improve the experience and outcomes of patients receiving care and support here. Donations and fundraising raised in aid of Velindre Cancer Charity help fund roles, services and research that help provide comfort, support and hope for patients and their families. More specifically, the Charity invests 1 million per year into ground breaking research and clinical trials as well as 50% of specialist nursing roles, complimentary therapies, psychology staff members and childrens resources to name a few.
