Yeola, Maharashtra has been the hub of paithani making since the early 17th century. Our story also comes from this land of silk, where the business of paithani still embarks as its speciality. Slony, founder of Very Much Indian is daughter of a textile business family based in Yeola. The foundation of becoming a skilled business woman was laid The foundation for her business acumen was laid as a child when she used to sit in her fathers textile store. She managed clients, accounts and soon learned the nuances of managing the store as well. After her MBA, she subsequently led a corporate life of 10 years and all along she knew that she wasnt meant to be there.
