The facts are that over 50,000 veterans are homeless on any given night in the United States. Nearly 600 homeless Veterans are in in the Capital District. Also devastating is that 22 Veterans commit suicide each day. Imagine. Imagine not knowing where you were going to sleep at night. Imagine not knowing where, when and if you would eat again. Imagine everything you own, fitting in one backpack. Imagine. Imagine being homeless, sleeping on the cold, hard ground with nothing....
