Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota

The Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota, otherwise known as VSAM, as a student organization, provide opportunities to share the Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions with students and the community at large. We seek to build and maintain partnerships with both the Vietnamese and university communities and to help students at Minnesota universities assimilate to college life. VSAM was first registered in 1976 and is a well-established student organization at the University of Minnesota. VSAM organizes a variety of events every year to share and promote Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions. VASM is primarily known for its annual Tet Trung Thu Festival and Tet Show. Along with sharing and promoting Vietnamese culture, the Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota also strives to form valuable connections with the student populace and local Vietnamese and Asian communities.
