Vignamaggio is a historic working farm in the heart of Tuscany, committed to the art of winemaking since 1404, and to high-end hospitality since 2014. We offer stylish rooms, self-catering villas & a fairy-tale event venue. The estate, which began conversion to full organic status in 2014, has embarked on an ambitious restoration project covering the territory of the upper Val di Greve. This has involved renovating ancient buildings and putting uncultivated land back into production using artisanal craft and organic expertise. At the core of the estates business lie its vineyards; 62 hectares of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano vines, which produce a distinguished Chianti Classico, excellent single varietal wines and exciting new blends that give full expression to our terroir.
