Villa Pinciana

A great adventure that began in late 90s, when Ilaria and Massimo Tosato, started to implement their ambitious project: produce new high quality wine in the 60 hectares of land that surround their family home in Capalbio; attracted by the surprising results of the soil analysis : iron, sand and red clay had exceptional potential. The exiting vineyard was then replanted, upgraded and expanded. The vineyard and the winery are located in Capalbio, the Maremma hills in the southernmost area of Tuscany where Ilaria grew up. The hilly terroir, the vicinity of the Tyrrhenian sea, the cool nights create the particular microclimate. Capalbio is now considered the new frontier for Italian wines attracting famous producers and building up a new trend. Villa Pinciana, with a limited production, is a leading quality producer in the area having focused on excellence.
