Village Health is a busy community general practice close to the heart of Christchurch, New Zealand, and has been servicing a large population of families over the last 50 years. Our team is made up of General Practitioners, Nurses, a Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Health Care Assistant, and Receptionists who all work together as a team to look after our patients. We are a skilled, progressive, and egalitarian team with great internal structures for working together and mutual support. We are believers in health being more than just seeing the Doctor and have weekly or fortnightly visiting specialists for Diabetes management, Brief Intervention Counselling, Acupuncture, Return to Work assistance and Budget Advice. We also run a free weekly walking group for our patients, a weekly community morning tea and regular health education and lifestyle sessions.
