Vineyard Theatre

We are an Off-Broadway theatre company dedicated to nurturing the voices of daring artists, and to developing and producing work that pushes the boundaries of what theatre can be and do. One of the countrys preeminent centers for the creation of new plays and musicals, our work seeks to challenge and inspire all of us to see ourselves and our world from different perspectives. Notable projects developed and premiered by The Vineyard include two Pulitzer Prize-winning dramas, Paula Vogels HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE and Edward Albees THREE TALL WOMEN and five productions that have transferred to Broadway John Kander and Fred Ebbs THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowens [title of show], Bobby Lopez, Jeff Marx and Jeff Whittys AVENUE Q (Tony Award, Best Musical), Nicky Silvers THE LYONS, and most recently INDECENT by Paula Vogel.
