Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern

Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern (vhb) / Bavarian Virtual University is a network of 36 member universities in Bavaria: 13 universities, 19 universities of applied sciences and four universities / academies of the arts. The vhb supports its member universities by promoting and funding needs-based online teaching programmes in order to improve teaching and study conditions and meet the growing demand for flexibility in terms of location and time. The vhb is well established in the Bavarian higher education system and is a stable partner for digital teaching. The vhb is a model that is unique in Europe. A variety of different digital learning/teaching programmes are made available across universities via the vhb. All formats are developed by professors at Bavarian universities and are subject to continuous quality assurance.
