Voedselbank Amersfoort

Amersfoort Food Bank provides a weekly food package to people who do not have enough money for a healthy meal. In addition, customers are helped by referring them to agencies that deal with poverty reduction and debt assistance and pointing out available funds for people who are financially strapped. We work intensively with the food banks in Leusden and Woudenberg/Scherpenzeel and also create a basic package for their customers. In Amersfoort we deliver food parcels to approximately 650 families. On average, this means 1950 people: adults and children. If we include the packages for Leusden and Woudenberg/Scherpenzeel, we are talking about approximately 750 families and 2,250 people. By the way, we have a large outflow in Amersfoort, which means that the number of families varies greatly.
