Voices Center for Resilience

Voices of September 11th (VOICES) was founded in 2001 by Mary Fetchet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mother of Brad Fetchet, who perished on 9/11. VOICES is the preeminent 9/11 organization providing a clearinghouse of information and a wide range of support services that promote resiliency and address the long-term needs of the 9/11 community. The organization fills a support gap that exists with its innovative approach to providing long-term continuity of care, using social work practices to address the evolving needs of impacted families. VOICES is also committed to sharing its best practices with the 9/11 community to assist all communities in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from traumatic events over the long-term, and advocates for public policy reforms that promote national preparedness.
