We at the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT) bring to you the 8th edition of Asias Largest Chem-fest: Vortex The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai is a unique Institute which was established on 1st October 1933 as a University Department of the Bombay University (UDCT), completing 85 years of glorious past. Under the World Banks Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP), ICT was granted full autonomous status in 2004 and declared as Deemed-to-be University on September 12, 2008, by the MHRD under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. It was bestowed an Elite Status and Centre of Excellence on par with IITs, IISc and IISERs in the State Assembly on April 20, 2012 by the Maharashtra Govt. based on its stellar performance on par with the institutes of national importance.
