Walden West Foundation

The Walden West Foundation empowers the children of Santa Clara County to develop a life-long passion for science, engineering and environmental stewardship through supporting Walden West Outdoor School, in partnership with the Santa Clara County Office of Education. Established in 1996, the Walden West Foundation works collaboratively in the community to support thousands of Santa Clara County children experience Walden West Outdoor School and Summer Camps. Funding supports program enhancements, state of the art facilities, and, through tuition assistance, ensures all students have access to this essential educational experience, regardless of their ability to pay. Our Foundation is guided by a dedicated volunteer board with a passion for environmental education and improving the learning outcomes for Santa Clara Countys children. The Foundation seeks partners from the community who can support its work through financial contributions and volunteer efforts
