Washington County Library

Washington County Library has served the residents of Washington County since 1966. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, champion innovation, and spark opportunity through the materials, programs, and resources we provide. Each year, we lend more than two million print and electronic books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, kits, ebooks, audiobooks, and video games to our patrons. Our libraries host storytimes and early literacy programs, arts and technology classes, book clubs, adult and childrens reading programs, and a range of STEM activities. Each branch is a community center with free internet access, public meeting rooms, color printing services, educational databases, employment resources, and more. Our system is made up of six public libraries, three Library Express locations, and the Washington County Law Library. Nearly 80 percent of all county residents have a library card, and in a recent resident survey, 94 percent of respondents rated our libraries as excellent or good. Washi...
