Washington University Emergency Support Team (EST)

WashUs Emergency Support Team (EST) is a student-run organization dedicated to providing high-quality, free healthcare services to the WashU Danforth campus. EST utilizes trained EMTs to offer BLS care 24/7 throughout the fall and spring semesters and responds to over 600 on-campus medical emergencies every year. Beyond emergency response, EST is committed to serving other organizations on WashUs campus through special coverage of sporting events and large events such as WILD (a major concert that WashU hosts). EST also engages with a variety of public health measures by staffing vaccine clinics in conjunction with WashU Health Services, offering BLS CPR training through AHA certified CPR instructors, and working with initiatives such as LifeSaveHer.
