Wayzata Sailing

Wayzata Sailing offers the finest small boat sailing in Minnesota. It has become one of the largest community sailing centers in the Midwest and serves the entire Twin Cites metro area. Located just west of Minneapolis in Wayzata, Minnesota. The one and a half acre facility is conveniently located on the shore of Lake Minnetonka at the east end of Wayzatas downtown. At Wayzata Sailing your child will learn to sail in an atmosphere where fun, safety and responsibility are paramount. Youth sailing starts as early as age five with the Kindersailing summer camp program, and continues through high school and college with our youth racing programs. Students make full use of the Sailing Centers fleet of 8-foot Optimists, 13-foot Olympic class Lasers and 14-ft Club 420 sloops. Adult group, adaptive, and private lessons are taught in international class 22-ft J22 or Sonar Sloops. Our summer camps are a place to play, learn and grow.
