We Are Queens is a Gen-Z led 501(c)3 nonprofit womens empowerment organization. We are a national network of dancers on college campuses committed to redefining our futures in the arts and claiming sustainable trajectories through community building, leadership opportunities, and personal & professional development. Since our founding in 2019 via a 30-day social media challenge called Bridging The G-A-P (One thing you are Grateful for, one positive Affirmation, and one thing you are Proud of), we have recognized the challenges college-aged women dancers face in navigating camaraderie amidst a competitive industry, self-empowerment as artists, and life post-graduation. Our solution? Student-led bonding initiatives on college campuses to promote inclusion and mental health awareness & professionally-led national events such as The Mentor Network, Professional/Personal Development Conventions, and Masterclasses.
