Weavers of Wellsville

Ken Weaver Meats, Inc. also known as Weavers of Wellsville, has operated continuously since 1889. Its existence began as a small hometown butcher shop across the street from the current facility. Founded by Jacob Weaver, it was passed to his sons Martin and Rich, to Martins sons Kenneth and Walter, to Kenneths sons Jack and Craig and is currently owned and operated by Craig and his sons Cole and Seth. As business grew, the Weaver family began selling a variety of bolognas and sausages smoked in our old-fashioned outdoor smokehouses. The demand for these products in various markets led to Weavers expanding into food distribution. Using the delivery network established for Weavers of Wellsvilles products, different refrigerated and frozen items were added to the trucks.
